An Update on AetherRoom Our goal is to provide the best possible tools for creativity and storytelling, and after reviewing our long-term product roadmap, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel AetherRoom. AetherRoom was an in-development chatbot project. Its scope was massive, and the development and engineering resources it required slowed down progress on NovelAI. Why We’re Making This Decision Decisions like this are never easy, especially given the passion and effort our team poured into AetherRoom’s vision. Unlike NovelAI, which launched as an alpha and grew through iterative development, AetherRoom was designed to be a complete product from Day One.
