Intelex is a Toronto, Canada-based environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) management software company founded in 1992 and acquired by Industrial Scientific, a Fortive Corporation subsidiary, in 2019. The company is one of the largest dedicated EHSQ software providers globally, serving more than 1,400 customers across 100 countries in industries including manufacturing, energy, construction, healthcare, and transportation. The acquisition has enabled Intelex to integrate with Industrial Scientific's connected gas detection hardware, creating an IoT-connected safety data platform that links real-time field safety sensor data with enterprise EHS management workflows. Intelex competes with Cority, Enablon (Wolters Kluwer), and Velocity EHS in the enterprise EHSQ market.
