Seres Therapeutics

Seres Therapeutics is a publicly traded clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded in 2012 that pioneered the development of microbiome therapeutics, medicines derived from human gut microbiota. The company's lead product Vowst received FDA approval in 2023 as the first oral microbiome therapeutic, consisting of purified fecal microbiota spores administered as capsules to prevent recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection after antibiotic treatment.
