GRAIL is a healthcare company founded in 2016 as an Illumina spinout focused on developing multi-cancer early detection tests using liquid biopsy technology. The company's flagship product Galleri is a blood test that analyzes cell-free DNA methylation patterns to detect cancer signals from over 50 cancer types, many of which lack standard screening tests, enabling detection at early stages when treatment is most effective.
