Dremio is a data lakehouse platform that enables organizations to run high-performance SQL analytics directly on data stored in cloud object storage — Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake, and Google Cloud Storage — without the need for proprietary data ingestion, transformation pipelines, or a separate analytical copy. The platform is built on Apache Arrow and Apache Arrow Flight, an in-memory columnar data format and high-speed data transport protocol that dramatically accelerates query execution compared to traditional row-oriented formats.
